Firefighter Training Facility

Located behind Station 3, is our fire training facility. The tower is a joint project with the Aboite Twp. Fire Dept.

The tower is four stories with burn rooms located on the first, second and third floors. The building which is manufactured by Fire Facilities, is made of heavy gauge steel.

The tower also incorporates a residential section that consist of two floors and an attic area that also contains our SCBA confidence course. For ventilation training the building is equipped with two cut out points located above the residential section and one located on the forth floor roof above the stairs and one located above the simulated elevator shaft.

Fire departments have used this facility from as far away as 45 miles. It has also been used to help train local companies that utilize their own fire brigades. Our training campus also contains a "Saving our Own building along with a prop storage shed and rehab pavillion.
