Career Positions:
- Pension Base: $84,263
- 2026 Starting Pay:
- Firefighter/EMT- $63,654
- Firefighter/Paramedic- $74,263
- Longevity Pay up to $10,000/yr
- Credit for Previous Career Service
- District Pays 50% of Employee’s Contribution of ‘77 Pension
- Employee and Family Medical Insurance.
- Paid Vacation/Personal Days
- $1,000/yr Clothing Allowance
- Paid Training/Education
- Oppportunity to Attend Paramedic School at No Cost
Requirements:
- Firefigher I & II
- EMT certification or higher
- Eligible for the Indiana ‘77 Fund
- Lateral Transfers
- Enrolled in Indiana ‘77 Pension or seperated within 6 months
Part-Time Positions:
2026 Pay Rates:
Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic - $28.64 / hour
Part-Time Firefighter/AEMT- $22.28 / hour
Part-Time Firefighter/EMT- $21.22 / hour
Part-Time Benefits:
-12 and 24 Hour Shifts Available
-Holiday Pay
-Onsite Fitness and Training Facilities
